Oh no. Born This Way singles were Gaga's downfall in Europe, they barely hit the radio. I still listen to Alejandro on the radio.

I was driving to my parents place before the Xmas it takes about 5 hours it's true I heard Alejandro on the radio but they also played TEOG and MR ... the radio stanned so much I felt like it was 2011 again :diane:

It really depends on how you look at it I guess

It really does cause also you can't just look at the peaks on charts but longetivity of the song, how long it held onto its peak how long it charted, etc. I guess you have to look at all the data maybe I'll do a table with charts, sales, etc when I'm bored and post it here.

Doncho

To all of you who put Poker Face first and Bad Romance second... thank you :golfclap:

Both are super big but I think Poker Face had more impact-success on a WW level

Alejandro is probably Gaga's most known and most played song in Europe (it had a really HUGE impact) also in my country (Romania) Million Reasons is a well known song, probablly her most known since many years (in other countries from europe too) so y'all better stop acting like this song had 0 impact outside US cause ur so wrong

According to this Billboard article (https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6813645/lady-gaga-top-10-billboard-hits) it's:

1. Just Dance

2. Poker Face

3. Bad Romance

4. Born This Way

5. The Edge Of Glory

6. Applause

7. Paparazzi

8. Telephone

9. Lovegame

10. Alejandro

I think that is based on how long it was in the Billboard Hot 100 :)

This is probably inaccurate but from what I've experienced:

1. Poker Face (had more impact as a hit than BR)

2. Bad Romance

3. Born This Way

4. Just Dance

5. Telephone

6. The Edge Of Glory

7/8. Paparazzi/Alejandro (tie, both were huge hits where I live, especially Alejandro)

9. Applause

10/11. Million Reasons/LoveGame (tie again)

A Hybrid

Okay but I live in Europe and I thought Alejandro was Lady Gaga's all time biggest hit before becoming a fan or hers. I had no idea of a song called Edge of Glory back then either.

Interesting that TEOG sold twice as much as Alejandro :triggered:

That's not true tho :triggered:, they sold around the same WW. Alejandro also had much more radio play, which is like 50% of a song's success.

Worldwide yes, but in the UK which is the biggest European music market Alejandro was around 300k and TEOG was 606k so I guess I remember TEOG as a bigger hit just because I remember everyone praising it and all of my friends bought it, even my mom and grandma bought a copy :toofunny:

That might be so but TEOG was certainly bigger than Alejandro in Europe

Alejandro seemed like a bigger hit than TEOG imo, well in the UK anyway
