Gaga could ride her second wave of popularity

When Gaga debuted with TF, she was in a continuous upward rise in popularity and commercial success that peaked at the beginning of the BTW era. But by the end of the BTW era she began to decline until she reached her lowest point during ARTPOP. However, since C2C, she has been on a slow but steady rise once again. She is much more respected as an artist now, and her demographic of fans is bigger. You can also see that more and more youtubers and celebs are paying attention to her. And her social media and streaming numbers have also been increasing much faster lately. According to this cycle, LG6 should at least be bigger than Joanne. If she plays her cards right, Gaga could ride her second wave of popularity and LG6 could be one of her biggest albums.

This I will agree with. But I think it really depends on the actual musing, when it’s released and how. 

I’m no industry expert but I don’t think dozens of radio interviews really do anything anymore.

Unless she jumps on the EDM trend like many other artists (which I do not want to happen), I don't think she'll be TFM level popular ever again.

Though, she could try and re-invent herself with a brand new type of sound and it could really make her succeed if the things are done in a right way.

I think we are confusing current radio driven EDM with good EDM. Very different things. 

Tropical style electronic music is what is all over the radio, but if she returned to electronic music, which considering we know she’s recording with DJWS seems like it will be (thank god), and the music is lit then I see no issue. 

Her doing is electronic music is not an issue. Her doing bad electronic music is.

I am not necessarily saying TFM level. But in general bigger than she has been in years. Also remember that Gaga has almost never been on trend. She is always doing her own thing.

Agreed there is a difference in the production of EDM on ARTPOP compared to today’s EDM, if LG6 sounds like Jack Ü, DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers then

I know, that's why I said "like many other artists". I loved The Cure but I'd hate to see her do a whole album like Purpose, for example.

Is not that I am focused on her success, I am just pointing out that right now she is in an organic rise once again. And therefore her next album could be one her biggest.

Yeah. She's really turned around her image this time. I have asked virtually everyone about gaga and they seem to be okay-good-fine with her. I have asked the same people about Katy Perry, and they don't seem to like her much this year. The tables have really turned. Also one of my co-workers was HUMMING poker face acoustic cord today out of nowhere. Had no idea she even knew the song let alone the acoustic version.

 

Anyways. If Haus of gaga gets their **** together and succeeds in every aspect, I think she can peak again. Not that it's the most important thing in the world , but it would be cool!

What if DJWS was born again and they make a Heavy Gospel Christian Country album
