Could it be that since the stage was so far into the crowd and it took up a lot of space that they couldn’t have as many people on the floor? Idk just a theory.

No the floor doesnt account for 6000 tickets. It barely accouts for 2000 tickets. And actually the way the staging is set up I think about the same or even more space is taken up with the Joanne World Tour’s staging. Other people at the St Paul show noted that the show was not sold out at all. And that the empty seats in the upper bowl were noticeable.

Never saw the contracts for this tour to know if she got paid or how much, it was sold on groupon for the UK 67% off but its in the past, who cares now? Shes done really well with this tour in the US, were all allowed blips its what makes us stronger and better.

I believe most shows were sold out but the tour wasn’t Gaga’s normal standards. Usually Gaga holds 2-3 shows in bigger cities with each show having over 14K+ fans. Towards the end of the European leg was mediocre too. For this era to not be her best, she still pulled a great tour and a good production.

Yeah she probably won’t, sadly...why did she sell so poorly?! My family lives there but I don’t think they care for Gaga ugh:selena:

According to what Live Nation reported it was 99.6% sold out there was only 1 non sold out show.

However Live Nation kinda Witness the Tour’d her receipts. No artRAVE show performed as badly as how every Witness show is doing except maybe 1 however Gaga didn’t actually sell out a lot the US shows. Look at the attendances she pulled for JWT and then compare it to the attendance she had for the artRave in the same arenas and you can see that artRave could not have possibly been sold out.

here’s one of many examples:

JWT St Paul 16.6k (100% sold)

artRAVE St Paul 10k (100% “sold”)

Same arena

Remember they added more seats for the JWT shows, especially the ones towards the sides and the back of the stage. They opened more seats because some people (based on the footage) are sitting almost behind the stage (which isn't a problem since Gaga moves to the B stages anyway.) But yup, those extra seats definitely aren't 6k seats

I think most dates sold out they just didn’t sell out fast. If you establish yourself as a person who puts on good shows which she already did with TMB and the BTWB then it’ll sell out. It might not sell out until the day of the show but it will sell out, some people buy tickets just for something to do that night.

Fun fact: I got 7 free floor tickets to the artrave by accident using a third party site. I was using PayPal to pay for them and kept checking to see how much $ came out of my account but they never charged me. Generally you’d get an email saying your order has been cancelled or whatever if there was a problem but that never happened. I got an email saying my tickets had shipped - still no money taken from my account. Next thing I know the tickets came in mail and still no money taken out of my account. I was waiting for the site to contact me and say something or block me from using it again but nope, nothing. $900 (actually I think it was more like $1200 cause they were listed in American $ and I‘m Canadian) of tickets for free.:lolly:

Because here it is cool to hate her

If you ask someone here about Gaga, he will answer you : oh that untalented that can't sing and wearing meat dresses

:grr:

Dont know what happened,  all her songs from The Fame and The Fame Monster were HUGE. In 2010 she could easily sell 2 Olympics stadiums here.

As far as I know they're putting the numbers of tickets for sale accordingly to the demand. Aren't they? Tho I really have no bigger idea how does it work.

Thats true, like some of Janet and Mariah shows. They say '... arena SOLD OUT' when actually the stage is moved forward to cut  off most of the arena and curtain off the back half (or more). I guess it depends where is available and the demand. If tix are sold 2 for 1, discounted on Groupon or many giveaway tickets to make up the numbers the go towards it being 'sold out'. Its quite a bad reference to how popular a tour or show was really. Im more interested if the people who went loved it rather than the sales. :)

It's possible the seats available were different. For instance, in Chicago, a whole section of seats at Wrigley were not available because they were behind the stage or where the pyrotechnics were. Since artRAVE and JWT have very different stages, it's very possible that they just had a different number of seats available.

Yes, Barcelona's show was absolutely packed so it was definitely sold out. Also do I need to post pictures from the Tokyo crowds?

yeah I don't know why she didn't choose to visit Greece for TMBT, she would've for sure sold out! Who do the Greeks like nowadays anyway?
