Your 2018 Transition Song

Vodka

Featured Posts

I've been shuffling in between friend groups this holiday season, driving around and it's all been good, jolly and great, actually started listening to a few radio stations aside from blue tooth streaming etc. and it's come up several times how everyone's sort of planning to listen to one track that'll end and wrap up 2017 for them and start 2018. One host was talking about listening to Phil Collins' "In The Air Tonight", a soft rock glorious bop among some other tracks.

Been thinking about my music library, and having heard from a friend of listening to Get Free by Lana, and opening the year up to the sounds of surf-glossed rock by at the beach.

As tempting as it is, I'm still pretty much reserved when it comes to finding that one song that transitions 2017 to 18 for me atm. but. First choice, what are your picks for leaping into the upcoming New Year?

edit: As of right now tho, I'm legit thinking about listening to Sledgehammer by Rihanna. 2017's been uncomfortably rough. What a track

Regardless of the year I always listen to this

For me it just fits perfectly. It reminds me that the last year is over and I have to live with the garbage I made, but next year might be better :selena: :diane: :awkney:

Ew, David!

Tomorrow Never Came by Lana I’m pretty sure that the loneliness and depressed feeling of the song is gonna be my whole mood for 2018 :awesome:

Get Free is my favorite song of 2017. Definitely that. Or Love tbh.

I heard Love (on the radio, there is a God  ) as the solar eclipse happened earlier this year surrounded on a picnic blanket by the best people I've ever met in my life and it was TRANSFORMATIVE. I suspect this will be similar

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

My dramatic self actually listened to TBD first then listened to LFL after. Love was playing but I actually didn't pay attention to it, and yeah the syncing of both happenings would've been beautiful  U go transformative yeaaaaaas :firega:

I want to do Get Free too, but I'm still checking my options. Knowing me, I'd actually want to drop by the beach to listen to it :cryga:

This is actually a thing? Tbh I don't even have plans for New Years let alone a song picked to play at the right moment :laughga:
