It makes the best use of the circular stage, it sounds great live, the choreography is fun and she feels sexy singing it. I wouldn't look too deeply into it. The video begins on a high mountain, dark sky, white clouds. Woods everywhere being taken by a group of people covered in black clothing. They make fire and start screaming so many names the viewer can't hear any of them. Then, Lady Gaga comes all avant-garde asking them why they're yelling, trying not to judge their culture. She says a quote (just like she had some iconic ones in Telephone): 'You don't know what you can become until you dare to become'. And then only the beat of the song starts with them dancing in circles. Some panoramic views, fire lights, and earthquake visuals are being shown. Then the song starts with them dancing in circles around the fire. All the way down to the town (downtown) finding a wild-west looking place, looking for a specific house. Gaga then drops her boots by the man's door and knocks it 2 times (as a metaphor for trying to knock once again after the love already ended). The door won't open and the music stops. The man says 'I don't want you here, please just leave'. Gaga then smiles in a very scary type of way and the other people form a circle around her breaking the door. Putting the man in fire by the last minute of the music video. The last 30 seconds of the song are 90 seconds in the video with some amazing dance moves and strong choreography. Right before the instrumental ends Gaga says 'It feels good to be lonely just because I know this time I won't ever be alone'. The music fades out and Gaga takes the third eye from the man's face and joyfully says: 'Now you don't feel anything but the warmth of my palms. And I? I feel nothing but your love'. Zoon on Gaga's face with a sound of a zip in the background. Gaga opening her short jeans. The camera points to the third eye and then black screen. The dancers and Gaga are now walking away and the camera points to them from the back. It looks like Gaga put his eye in her feminine place. Then the screen gets a fade out with red-yellow smoke on light blue sky. Screen turning black with shapes of flowers forming space for credits to appear. After the credits there's a special credit for the avant-garde costumes' designer. And then there's strange music (sounds very futuristic like DJWS' kind of beat) for 5 seconds. 'LADY GAGA IS AWAKE'. label credits with date of year and video ended. I thought about it so much and wanted to share this visual perfection with you. There's so much potential of shock factor that she has yet to reveal. What I described with the OP pictures is a promising video, one of the most iconic if not the greatest. This is, of course, my idea and interpretation. And by the way, I am not new to Gagadaily. I followed posts ever since the beginning. Are singles really expensive to push or something? I really think Joanne especially would have done really well. That kind of aching ballady songs are still REALLY popular with the masses.
