Formula 1 driver and former boyfriend to Nicole Scherzinger, Lewis Hamilton, took social media to shame his nephew for wanting a princess dress for Christmas. Lewis Hamilton has sparked outrage after sharing a video in which he tells his young nephew: “Boys don’t wear princess dresses.” “I’m so sad right now. Look at my nephew,” he says. He then turns the camera on the young boy, who is very happily wearing a princess dress and waving a toy wand. Hamilton asks: “Why are you wearing a princess dress? We can joke about male fragility as if we have transcended it but were all bound by it and stuck suffering. I can't hurl insults at someone who obviously isn't even aware of the embedded expectations of men. Good on those for educating and enlightening rather than insulting. Glass houses and all.
