This is not a good way to stimulate economy much and is a waste of money im just saying making poor people poorer is reaching its not so much a matter making poor people poorer to make rich richer... its more like making rich richer while not doing much for the poor The deficit will increase for only moderate benefits (at best) for the average person

That, or they will invest in sectors that are growing like tech which *also* doesn’t help the middle class or poor. Obviously anyone is free to invest where they please, but it’s dumb to have federal initiatives focused on prolonging dying industries while at the same time providing a chance for the rich to further invest in the smarter, growing industries that will only keep chipping away at the dying industries. I know... hence why i said small benefit The big tax cuts could definitely sway a few more companies to stay or move to America in relation to the ones offshoring Also not every Corporation has large profit margins like the ellite ones you always hear of. This could help Corporations wanting to expand but are more cash strapped. Companies do want to grow... if more money is left with them some may invest more than without the tax cuts. Many Companies may simply pocket higher profits but any company in an advertizing or growth phase would take advantage of this! In addition it may also help inflation slightly by reducing business costs 3rdly, average joes pensions and RSPS are invested in companies like these. Its not only the rich that own shares in them. Regular people to a smaller extent benefit if they do well So to say there will be no benefit is very reaching. I think we can say with fair certainty there will be at least a modest benefit to the economy as a whole Its just that the benefits would be more significant if the tax cuts were more wide spread to include everyone rather than just the rich... There is some modest trickle down its just not as much as right-wingers like to believe Instead these these tax cuts, although they will bring some benefit, its not enough benefit to justify their financial cost

Especially not with the vast majority of Americans agreeing with the sentiment. Hell, his approval rating has been in the low 30's for at least a month now, if not, longer That last 30% will never change their view tbh. I feel sorry for them. Anyone who can support Trump at this point either has very strange morals or they're totally ignorant of the world around them. Spoiler Not to insult anyone here who still supports him, of course. I just don't understand y'all at all Legislation aside, I think one of my biggest "f*ck you"'s I want to give to Trump is because he's spent over 100 days of his presidency (yeah, a third of it) on vacation at his golf resort here in Florida and the tax payers picked up the bill. He uses tax money to pay himself at his resort plus pay all the federal workers that follow the president and his family around (secret service included) it's like three million bucks every time he goes and idk how anyone has yet to put a stop to it How anyone could be such a spoiled rat is beyond me. Born with a silver spoon up his ass and the only things he knows how to do are lie, cheat, and steal. All of which he does very well and very often. Especially lying. F*ck him, tbh There's not enough space on the internet to contain all the literal hate I have for him. 3 hours ago, Economy said: Indeed. I wasn't referencing your post at all, actually, so my apologies It's just unfortunate that the majority of the people that see that extra 50-500 bucks in their bank at the end of the year will say "thanks, Trump " meanwhile CEO's, Trump himself, and his mega-billionaire friends are walking around with unprecedented wealth and power that only grows. I'm still amazed that he convinced a bunch of low class workers that repealing the estate tax and rolling back regulations on corporations would put more money into their pockets though I guess there's a reason that the majority of the GOP's base is uneducated, white men while the vast majority of college educated people, especially young ones, veer heavily to the left. Spoiler Again, not to be insulting. It's still a fact though I can understand being personally conservative but supporting the GOP's economic plans makes zero sense to me. It's always to boost the power of the richest and to hell with the 99% (aka us) that it hurts. I mean, how the hell can reducing regulations and lining the pockets of the mega-rich in the country be more important than education, protecting the environment, feeding the hungry, housing and clothing the poor, and treating the sick while preventing illness in the healthy? So damn backwards, it's deliberately detrimental to the rest of us We're coming for their asses in 2018 and 2020 though ...Sorry, rant over Whimsical bitch

Going towards one direction can be beneficial then when u cross certain thresholds it can change and stuff lesa regulation and taxes for rich could be a net positive for an over-regulated and over-taxed nation chocking business... But then the same tax cuts in a country where rich already do well is no longer a net positive depends on the cirumstances and where u are US taxes for Corporations were so-so if u factored in the loop-holes. A cut of a few percentage points might have been beneficial... but down to 20% is more than necessairy. Here in Canada its 15% but we have less loop-holes plus we can financially afford it If they droped corporate taxes only 5% then the rest middle class tax cuts, that woulda been way more effective!
