(Australians are one of the biggest tourist groups in Vegas, so ) I wish you were right about her breaking old Vegas formulas, but given her recent history of "breaking the formula" of Jazz by singing standards in a ball gown, or "breaking the formula" of Country music by singing about God in a cow boy hat, or "breaking the formula" of Rock by wearing combat boots and swinging a mic over her head, or "breaking the formula" of acting by staring the 37th film adaptation of A Star Is Born, I don't think she is in the "breaking the formula" stage of her career. She’s gonna design the show around songs she wrote. Gaga’s career has been built on creating art and music that is hers in places where art and music is controlled by others. Im very confused why people think this is a step backwards? I think it’s just Gaga wanting to still perform, but not have to do it all over the world and have to continue to completely have her life a mess of airplanes, hotels, and being away from her family. This way she will be either at home or Vegas; It’ll be a break for her for a bit, but she’ll still be able to perform.
