Glee's Mark Salling Pleads Guilty, Expected to Serve Up to Seven Years

Actor Mark Salling has pleaded guilty to possessing child ****ography.

US media reports that, as part of a plea agreement, Salling admitted to owning around 50,000 images and 600 videos of children being sexually abused. According to court documents, the content depicted children as young as three-years-old being abused. 

The 35-year-old, who is best known for starring as Noah 'Puck' Puckerman on the Fox dramedy Glee, faced up to 20 years in prison but is expected to serve four-seven years as part of the plea agreement, followed by 20 years of supervised release and registry as a sex offender. 

He will undergo a treatment programme, have no verbal or electronic contact with anyone under the age of 18, stay 100 feet away from schools, parks, public swimming pools, youth centres, playgrounds and arcades, and pay $50,000 in restitution to each victim, People reports. 

Salling's collection of child ****ography was discovered on a laptop, a hard drive and a USB after the actor showed some of the images to a girlfriend, who then reported him to police. He was arrested in December 2015.

In a statement to People, Salling's attorney Michael Proctor said "Mark is focused on accepting responsibility and attempting to atone for his conduct".

Salling will be sentenced on 7 March 2018.

tbh whoever this girl is, is a hero This is something not everyone would do. It is obviously wrong, but not everyone has the guts to go against a friend or family member.

no one deserves to die, no one should have the right to kill.

I'm so sad that pedophilia exists, but it's part of the nature and we've to deal with it. What we can do is protect the children  and try to heal people who suffer from pedophile pulses and make sure they can't come across a child anyway. It's a real disease, nobody chooses to become a pedophile. We're going nowhere with death penalty, this is never a solution

Y'all should be a lil more tolerant, it's easy when you're not in his shoes. But we should try to understand why people come to get horny with such horrible things, because a problem needs to be understood before we can solve it. Insulting will never cure anybody

He's a disgusting rat.  I've seen people on twitter calling him "hot" despite the fact of what he did. Welp, some people need a reality check.

I really hope he gets the help he needs to suppress his urges. Maybe enough therapy and counseling can help him deal with his mental illness. 

On that note, I feel sorry for all those children being sexually abused, that’s a ton of kids. And the sad thing is, there’s millions of more out there that the world will never know about
