He needs to record another version with Idina Menzel for children and Maluma, Shakira and Daddy Yankee for Latin America. As much as I have liked Perfect ever since the album dropped, I felt like he wants to drag it all the way to 2018 and make it even bigger than Shape of You. I don't see why Andrea has to do this, he's almost 60 and is a legend, why does he need to jump on a pop bandwagon? Besides which, what's with all the unnecessary prologue of nothingness as the beginning. It just seems to overstate the concept of "this is a genuine collab with heart, look, we talked together beforehand and everything!" I just don't know why people are still buying these remixes. The original is clearly the best offering and if you're a fan of Ed Sheeran, a duet with someone outside his genre who doesn't play acoustic guitar removes all the appeal. Doing features with Taylor Swift made sense, even The Weeknd and that Stormzy remix of Shape of You at a push, but Beyonce and Andrea?
