I assume Disney want to expand audiences that is why they bought 20th Century Fox entertainment assets. What they can't show on Disney brand, they will show it on another brands. Most here are like "omg mah X-Men" or "Disney screams quality so I'm fine with that" but the thing is since Disney is buying everything, you get everything from them. They control all the way from making the film to you seeing it (with their streaming service) and could potentially charge a lot more money. Probably not, I think it's going the same way with Marvel and Lucasfilm.
