Okay but why would u deny someones talent like that? I understand u don’t like her music but to say she has no talent? 

Her music is great and like it or not some of her songs are HUGE. She is great performer and some of her performances are AMAZING. She is actually really really innovative and she has great ideas. 

+ she is really kind and loving. 

I see no point in bringing her down like this and even if it was joke - it’s not okay. 

Also I am in no way Katy fan but I watched her movie/performances/interviews and I heard her music.

It's amazing how it improves her. It's like looking at two completely different people. Not only does she look prettier, she looks younger too. It's a total myth that short hair makes you look younger - it does the exact opposite. It's a sales ploy put forth by hairdressers to ensure that your short style has to be maintained every few weeks/months for the rest of your life, hence keeping them in business (which is why you'll notice almost all the customers have short hair). Even as a woman myself, I will never understand why any female, no matter what she's going through, would want to cut off her long hair, which is the ultimate symbol of femininity, beauty and sex appeal for a frumpy bob/crop that instantly makes her go from a knockout 10 to a plain Jane at best. If I got Katy's crop, I'd be leaving the salon weeping, convinced the world's going to see me in a totally different light and having extensions, no matter how costly. I'm still unsure if Katy genuinely liked this style or regretted it immediately but has kept up the facade because she needs to see this era through.

I feel like this all just falls into the typical western standards of beauty. Maybe some women don't feel the need or desire to have long hair. I don't see myself getting a pixie cut because it's not my personal taste, but I do think there are women actually look good with short hair, and maybe some of them are just tired of dealing with their long hair as there are downsides to long hair (clogged shower drains, investing in haircare, curling it, takes a long time to properly wash and condition, having to pull stray strands out of your butt crack after showering etc.).
