It's Alabama, so I'm about 90% resigned to the inevitable and 10% hopeful, but I've been praying all day that Alabamians choose the candidate who's spent his career upholding the law.

Hopefully we have something to celebrate tonight.

I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby.

I'm watching my local news station, CNN and MSNBC at the same time and I can tell my fingernails won't exist by 10pm.  I'm nervous!

All I want is Doug Jones in a SOLID win with no chance of a recount or any bs.

It's still way early in the counting. I can't get mad or excited at anything yet.   Yet. Lol.

Important to realize that many smaller rural precincts will report earlier, as there are less votes to be tabulated.

People need to know there are alot of us in Alabama that loathe Roy Moore and aren't the picture some have of this state. We are trying to defeat this.

Keep in mind it was only a year ago America voted Trump as President so ....ya know.

I can't speak for Alabamian rural folk, as I'm country, but from Pennsylvania.  Most of the rural neighbors I know who I've spoken to say they wouldn't vote for Moore, but this election is Alabama's.  There's a big difference between rural Deep South and rural rest of the country.   :air:
