Yeah. I think it was because of some rules that’s why. Nevertheless, this is an example of how charts doesn’t matter all the time. People who won’t call this iconic or a classic are delusional.

Yep! This is a prime example of why charts can be very @Irrelevant

I saw a video which was a compilation of the songs that were the longest #1 for each year since the beginning of Billboard. Michael Jackson, Queen, and Price (and Gaga and many others) were not on the list.

Yes. I actually heard some old people say that back then, the legends we know today aren’t always at the top, there are far more popular songs. But then it was all about longevity.
