What is the point of this article? :selena: I'm a Democrat but I struggle to find a reason to be angry at this, why would the Republicans invite Dems to their party when they're not exactly on good terms as of late, that would make for a pretty bad gathering :emma:

That's such a contradiction :duck:

I fell down the stairs once as an actor.

This is an event that is normally bipartisan. Guest list is normally 1,700, scaled down to 300.

Trumps government and bipartisan don’t really exist anymore which I’ve kind of normalised within myself :/ I think it’s disappointing for sure but surprised I’m not

The divider in chief would never do anything that reeks of a spirit of inclusion, holidays included.

Yeah, there are 30 Congressmen and Senators who are Jewish, Trump invited 2. (the two Jewish Republicans- one who was just elected, so it previously was just one)

The point of these types of events are to show that the United States government respects and represents its constituents. It's not about a political battle of Democrats and Republicans, it's for Jewish families to see that the government has representatives they can look to and trust to consider their interests as a minority. Not inviting the Democrats makes it about only supporting Republicans who happen to be Jewish, not the Jewish interests first.

I'm not bothered by it, I'm just stating a fact.

Yet, you took the time to point it out.
