do you know if it was difficult to look after? :oprah:

It was very difficult, and it didn’t help they had pet raccoons, ferrets, a skunk and a pig :toofunny:

I think it’s doable if you devote a huge chunk of your being to it, but obviously Chris Brown is not going to do that. He will dispose of it once it bores him, just like Justin did

Lol when I was little my next door neighbor had a pet monkey and I’d go over every single day to play with it :toofunny:

This reminds me

I know a handful of people who have/had monkey pets

If I remember properly then Mom told me she knew someone who had a wild black bear as a pet, no cage, no leash

Ouch, My back hurts.

Hmmm, MJ's Bubbles is cackling and whispering in Royalty's monkey ear, "you'd wish you're as iconic as me!" :poot:

Why would anyone make a skunk their pet? Are they cute? I've never seen one in broad daylight :laughga:

I don't want to argue but

Cats literally domesticated themselves to get easy food

https://relay.nationalgeographic.com/proxy/distribution/public/amp/2017/06/domesticated-cats-dna-genetics-pets-science

And alot of animals self-domesticate themselves for a better life

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-domestication?wprov=sfla1

But on the Original Topic I can only hope the monkey does not suffer. Humans can be so selfish at times.

This point of view is very interesting, thank you for sharing !

I guess what I find to be critical and anthropocentered is to generate dependency on purpose.

And since it's difficult to check if animals wants to be food, domisticated or "wild", I think humans should interfer with them as little as possible.

GGD: eww monkeys shouldn't be pets!

Also most of us: goes to zoos with monkeys :neyde:

There's a big difference in keeping a monkey in a zoo and in Chris Brown's 3 year old daughters hand with a diaper and without any other monkey's.

Well but the main point here is that they shouldn't be 'pets', which is essentially being held captive.
