Buddy 5,686
Both Jews and Muslims in Israel refuse to live amongst each other. Many people just hate the Jewish side more because they own the majority of power in Israel and are painted as oppressors. Both sides are at fault imo. They refuse to blend cultures due to religion

They refuse to blend cultures due to religion I agree. But there's no denying there's an oppressed group and a government oppressing said group. This power majority aren't painted as oppressors, they are so (referring to the Israel government specifically. I haven't heard much from the people besides Pro-Two state solution groups on my campus). Both sides need to compromise. It didn't work before but they need to try again and stand up harder against terrorist groups trying to tear down the middle men (e.g. Hamas). I personally stand with the Palestinians. And if anything, it's the Extreme Muslims that refuse to acknowledge the Jewish state due to religion.

Medieval ideas have no place in our society. We will never be able to truly achieve peace as a species as long as religion still exists. Melech 9,900
This is not a religious conflict. It’s a conflict with ethnicity. Removing religion wouldn’t help at at all since jewish and Palestinian are ethnicities. 10 minutes ago, SFDMQ said: why did they take jerusalem from palestine Both sides have a claim on it. I definitely agree. However, the most logical idea would be to make it an international region run by the UN perhaps. That is unrealistic though and would never work. If both Israel and Palestine can't work it out together to share Jerusalem with each other, I would definitely prefer Israel's claim on it to remain. Because we all know what happens when Palestinians have a claim on something... See Gaza Strip.

Israel didn't destroy their land but you could argue that it's occupied which can also be argued because it was the Palestinians who attacked the Jewish people first in 1948 after the Israeli declaration of independence, leading them to lose the war and run away to neighbor countries. But I'll leave you with the following questions. How don't they destroy their cities if they elected Hamas a terror organization to run Gaza? How don't they destroy their cities if they hide weapon under schools and innocent citizens homes?
