2009 VMA performance changed my life. Never had I loved something a Pop star did so much. It completely changed my view of music and what an artist should be.

I was HUGE Britney fan back then and I fell in love with Gaga when I saw her VMAs 2009 performance..

I was interested in her since I saw her on Miss Universe, realised she was super cool and I might become obsessed after the Love Game MV and then I saw her Paparazzi VMA performance and I stanned instantly. Favourite performance of all time.

2009 VMA's is when I thought she was cool. Swinefest (specifically Swine) is when I fell in love

Then throughout the ARTPOP era I became more and more active in the Little Monster community. Mostly on LM.com. And by the end of the artRAVE, I found myself an active member here :sis:

MMVA 2009 LoveGame and Poker Face. I remember the exact place I was at. My friends were talking about how weird a performance it was and wanted to show me. I had heard Just Dance, Poker Face and Lovegame, but I just assumed it was a dance artist who wouldn’t last.

Then they showed me the performance and I would never be the same :firega:

The spark bra was just so different at the time.. . If only I could go back and tell my 15 year self the exciting times that lay ahead. I still get excited thinking what lays ahead.

Back at 2012, at the very beginning of her Born This Way Ball concert in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). I felt something that I knew it was new to me and no other artist could make me feel...like if you belong a group that you didn't knew and found them and suddenly everything makes sense.

It was her 1st concert ever here too. I had severe menstrual cramps at that moment, and once I heard the first notes of "Highway Unicorn" it stopped.

Guess that she gave me The Cure 5 years earlier!

I've listening to Maroon 5 since I was 13.
