I'm disappointed that she dropped the original title. I really liked the idea of The Hurting The Healing The Loving, a breath of fresh air compared to the usual self-titled debuts. But then again, she really is not that well known by many and a lot of people didn't even know who she was pre-Havana (and some still don't), so a self-titled debut is probably for the best. I also think it was wise to remove Crying in the Club and just treat Havana as the lead instead. Usually, I'd disapprove of that sneaky move to make it look like your lead single went to #1 when it was really your second, but honestly, Crying in the Club is so different from Havana and so commercial that I wouldn't be surprised if it was made back when the album had a bit of a different vision which no longer suits the album. After Havana had unexpected success, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of her album has been re-recorded to include more Latin-sounding music and themes. If this means that OMG is also dropped from the tracklist, great, because that song is bad and a clear attempt to get a hit considering it featured Quavo. I just hope that I Have Questions is still there, though, because that is a good, heartfelt song. I love the way she sings "my blood, my sweat, my heart and my tears" and that would suit the theme of the album being a true reflection of who she is. It's also wise to hold the album off until 2018. She needed more time to have a properly successful single before launching an album and hardly anyone releases albums in January, so she'll stand out. That cover, though? Um...no need to open her legs, even if she's covered. A bit suggestive considering that she's still not even old enough to drink yet.

The first 20 seconds are so promising, but then she descends into awful hip hop autotune vocals. I've never heard a female sing with such studio trickery and it sounds so weird. The whole "she drop it and it bounce back like a yoyo" is so forced and too masculine a line coming from a girl. The Quavo verse is also bad, as usual and he's totally the go-to rap verse of the moment and it's already tired and a blatant attempt at a hit grab. I really don't think this song represents her and as you can see by the views and likes, even her fans paid it dust.

Tbh makes me wanna get on all fours and whip my hair back and forth, I even have a video lipsyncing to it hahaaa

It is blatant but I think she owns it, feels more like she knows she's in control and is embracing it and capitalizing on it

I don’t wanna commit on an album yet :diane:

Also, is that her on the cover art or is that young Sofia Vergara?

Not a big fan of the colors of the font (could be more contrasting), but it's a cute cover.

3 points in and ready for more

I just thought about her album today and thought to myself "wish she'd change the album title. It just doesn't sound like an album that'd be a hit for a debut record" and viola!

I should be working at a label :ladyhaha:

Now THATS an album cover. I’m perched for this album. I’ve been seriously enjoying her music.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
