He didn't double 19 is 38. He was born during 1976 so would be 40-41 now. That is a 2-3 year gap from double her age. He would of been 31-30 during that time. Spoiler but I did go googling for his age bc I had read he was almost twice her age when they were seen together, and apparently she was 20 and he was 38. It doesn't really mean it was him, though.
