Katy definitely doesn't deserve a single Grammy this era :air:

Dua Lipa unfortunately isn't that big in America yet, but I do think she deserves a nom. Her album is really good.

As for Demi, I read somewhere she released after the deadline? TMYLM is amazing so it does deserve recognition :firega:

no remember Demi, Miley, and Shania purposely all went head to head to make the deadline, but they all ended up losing to Tom Petty :emma:

You think Britney should have more Grammys? :poot:

Well, Beyonce has 22 awards and have wrote two songs in her life, why shoudn't Britney deserve more? Also Blackout, OIDIA and Baby One More Time are milestones in the music history, she should have won more Grammys for sure. Not that the Grammys are anything special, they suck and as Britney said herself:

:reductive:

Well it was a big year for hip hop and male artist. If you wanted to see more females get nominated, they should’ve released good quality music. Katy is not Grammy worthy but I do agree that Dua Lipa deserved something but she’s still way too new and hasn’t had a big year like the ones nominated for New Artist.

If you’ve been reading GGD this week you’d know that the Grammys have changed their ways and included a bunch of other artists and didn’t really focus on the most popular ones so yeah.

I think it’s more balanced this year. There were a lot of girls nominated especially on the pop categories. Yes, only one girl for Album and no girl for Record but who cares.

She deserved more in the past. Nowadays, not so much. Britney should have definitely won, it’s probably her best album. In The Zone and Blackout never got any recognition, other than “Toxic” being her only Grammy. Don’t even get me started on how much potential The Original Doll would have had, had it been released. The most input, creativity, and raw emotion she had ever put into an album, and it got shelved :selena:

As of recently, she shows slight signs of improvement in creative input with Glory, but we can only find out where it takes us.
