asana15 16,648
The Venues Today magazine is the world's leading publication for venue and event professionals (per their site). Pollstar is a trade publication for the concert tour industry. It gets its information primarily from the agents, managers and promoters who produce concerts (Wiki). Both outlets receive their information from the outside sources, however here's the difference: the venues get it from the venue itself (the actual gate receipts). The Pollstar gets it from the event promoter (Live Nation in our case). I don't know why there's a difference, but it is substantial - $1M is nothing to sneeze at. It warrants further investigation. Monique Potter - Hot Tickets Manager Monique can be reached at (714) 378-5400 x32 or [email protected] http://www.venuestoday.com/magazine/meet_the_staff

Supersonic 49,376
See, I've said this before: I'm pretty sure the gross of only one Joanne date for Uncasville was used instead of the two shows she actually played.

asana15 16,648
So, I've checked the other reported boxscores to see if there's a pattern. Janet Jackson boxscore matches up the one reported by Pollstar. The same is for Jay-Z's show in Atlanta. Guns N’ Roses don't have their scores reported by Pollstar just yet. So, Gaga's is the only one that doesn't add up.
