Or alternatively, movie-goers will go to cinemas and notice A Star Is Born and get intrigued and go watch ASIB instead. ASIB being released in May is a counter-move from Warner Bros against these 'blockbusters'. I also think that the marketing from Disney & Marvel is so good, they could literally sell a piece of dirt as the next big Avenger movie Nevertheless, I think ASIB has the potential for more chances for awards, stuff like the Avengers gets usually snubbed besides Special Effects categories. 1 minute ago, Andrew2512 said: ASIB will be considered successful even with 50M box office score . Not only that, as long as they get the money the have spent in again, it might be seen as a success.
