GaGaAst 12,950
U missed her most repetitive song.. HaIR. Listen to it once again. Love it when you call me legs In the morning, buy me eggs
Sailor 3,321
I think, with ARTPOP, she really did want to stop being repetitive and, literally, put "art" and "pop" together, to make pop music artistically relevant, lyrics included. Had she released ARTPOP in the position she is in now, with the mind set she's in now and the career she's built up now, perhaps things would be much different in terms of lyrical content. bannedT for life and it's SAD

Sorcerer 11,599
I mean, even I Want To Hold Your Hand by The Beatles is repetitive. Repetitiveness isn't bad if the melody is good and if it is purposely created as a hook or an earwom.
Robinladen 1,474
It annoys me in G.U.Y., like the geee youuu whyy is really the weakest chorus out of any of her singles imo. So I do agree with you that sometimes she could have found a better hook than just repeating the words. I feel like she does try now, as on Joanne she never really repeats the same word over and over again and there's also none of her trademark stuttering.
