ZAIJHNZJEN 1
I have a question regarding conversion of WAV files to Apple Lossless. iTunes doesn't let us tag WAV files, so I plan on converting some of my files to Apple Lossless. But the question is, when I convert WAV to Apple Lossless, are the files still lossless? Sorry if this seems to be a stupid question. Thanks in advance to the people willing to help. garnite 8
i do the same thing since itunes can't handle flacs. from ALAC to WAV to FLAC to WAV to ALAC to FLAC to WAV to FLAC to WAV to ALAC and so on - you're dealing with lossless formats, therefore there is no loss of quality.so yes, if you convert from wav to alac (and back and forth 1000 times), the files are still lossless. spookytanooki 334
Technically WAV is a bit more HQ than ALAC, but there is no way you will ever hear the difference. this post is sponsored by red wine
