I was very excited when I saw she’s going to release new music after Prism since I loved this record so hard. But with witness she tried so hard and it’s just a mess, the production is quite nice but those lyrics? „Into me, I’ll see you broke me wide open, open sesame“? „Saw a balloon floating away I thought did someone let go or did they loose it“ I mean, this is the deep lyric part of this song? Better than L4L, Melodrama () and Reputation, which everyone praises them to heaven and back. My fave tracks are: Witness, Roulette, Deja Vu, Power, Mind Maze, Tsunami, Bon Appetit and CTTR. It's her most cohesive album and most of the album is good. Miss You More is kinda a mood killer but other than that it's the only Katy album which I can listen through most of the tracks without skipping.
