I don't think HML was rehearsed. And I dont see Judas replacing Scheiße. I do see Judas replacing Bloody Mary

I see Judas replacing Paparazzi actually, she rehearsed a version with the sirens that transitioned into Angel Down

I think she decided to perform Bloody Mary because it wasn't an "obvious" song. I mean, you know you're gonna hear JD, PF, BR, Alejandro, Telephone, BTW, etc., at a Gaga concert, + Joanne tracks since it's the JWT. Throwing in a little surprise like Bloody Mary in the mix is a great idea. I hope she continues to perform older deep tracks for her future tours.

Inb4 HML for LG6 tour :queenga:

Because they're two of Gaga's best songs. Duh. :reductive:

Mrs. Caca's career found dead in a ditch, re-evaluation process started.

I mean... If I'm attending the LG42 tour and she starts performing Jewels N' Drugs out of nowhere, I'd get hyped.

Judas and Venus wouldn't fit the storyline.

What is the story? Having seen the JWT I genuinely don't recall one at all

I interpret the show as a rendition of her career - kind of like the Halftime Show, but more personal, not just the hits and the fame.

Her transition from Stefani to Gaga, taking control over greedy male producers, coping through music and little monsters, her break up with Taylor, and the pains of her illness.

Kind of like a live version of Five Foot Two.

I think Judas could replace Scheiße

Bich! I can’t  :saladga:

The German Bop was played at Coachella and the crowd loved so she put it on there and she knows (IDK) we all want Judas to be on the setlist, but that’s what happens when you have an album with too many Bops.

And I think that after the Coachella, she probably wanted to bring back Scheiße along with Bloody Mary (since BM act on the BTWB was kind of a 'breather' spot on the tour, and the Montreal Date She broke her hip during Scheiße, which was the part of the show that very one liked)

Also I think Heavy Metal Lover was rehearsed at some point.

 Where's the recipes  :oprah:

I kinda noticed that during each act, especially during act 1 and 5

Maybe because both songs have strong feministic touches, and the theme of womanhood strongly influenced the Joanne era/album.

Heavy Metal Lover x Bloody Mary x Scheiße were all BTW’s fan favorites. Bloody Mary fits the look she was aiming for during the Red Trinity. Scheiße is such a powerful record especially after BTWB. HML would be better for the next tour though!
