Fashion: Why doesn’t Britney experiment much with it?!

Most of the mainstream pop girls don’t shy away from Fashion! Madonna, Gaga, Bey, Riri, Miley, Katy and even Selena are pretty fashionable. Gaga, Bey, And Riri are fashion icons, and Miley and Katy are not shy about changing up their styles/ looks. Taylor has pretty good Fashion sense. And even Selena has quite interesting fashion choices.

As I have noticed all of this, I also noticed something else. Britney doesn’t really have much of a Fashion sense like AT ALL. She doesn’t really change up her look/ style/ fashion sense very much. And I ask, why? She just doesn’t have much “style” and she really doesn’t change it up very much. Very rarely have I seen Britney in a “different” “unique” “interesting” outfit. Now don’t get me wrong, she usually looks gorgeous but I’m centering on her style. The only times I have seen her “Fashionable” is probably in only her music videos with different outfits, looks, diff colored wigs etc.

So I ask why? Why doesn’t Britney not have much of a Fashion sense? Why does she rarely change up her look?

Anyone know? Has she said anything about it before in an interview etc? :what:

I'm not sure if this is true, but my best friend is a huge Britney stan and he told me once she's been doing her own styling and make up for years, so that might be why :awkney:

She made the sexual “teen becoming adult” look trendy tho?

Since she did it on Oops..! Every teen star who wanted to break out from clean image will pull that same stuffs.

I feel like fashion is the least of her concern. I think she's been taking care of herself a lot lately- painting (which sell for $10k :hor:), working out, hiking, etc

I remember reading a theory somewhere explaining the reasoning behind why Britney shaved her head in 2007 and the person said that for her, it was a cathartic way to free herself from the spotlight and pressure that the media and society put on her as a pop star. It was as if she was saying to everyone "You love to focus on my hair and what I wear so much? Well, say goodbye to it, bitch" ... With that in mind, perhaps the reason why she doesn't experiment with fashion is because she hasn't recovered from that moment and why she doesn't try hard to please those that once tried to destroy her ...

Spoiler

Or perhaps she's basic, idk. :selena:

Bc she's not interested in being a Hollywood gorl since her meltdown she just does it cause it's her job... That's what she comes off as, anyway.

Britney is an accidental Icon. She doesn’t care about anything that has to do with ‘Fame’. The only reason why she’s doing her Las Vegas residency is because she wants to stay busy with the only thing she knows, performing old hits.

She was very fashionable in her "prime"

*to elaborate, she was very much the trendsetter in her day, even if what she once wore wouldn't be deemed "fashionable" any longer, she was definitely influential to everything that came out 2000 through 2006 in one way or another.

She doesn't like being a super star and fitting the beuty standards, she just wears what she feels comfortable in. Since 2007 she doesn't realy care about her appearance. I mean she is super rich, but she does her own make up herself when going on the red carpet, instead of hiring a proffeshional make up artist(and usualy it's a hot mess)........ :awkney:

Britney Spears is solely responsible for making low-rise pants a thing in the early 2000s.

She was very much a fashion trendsetter and risk taker at the time.

One has to realize that risks in fashion look different from decade to decade.

Yeah, she's older now and has a more mature look, but i think that's quite fitting for her.

She was so so fresh when she burst onto the scene in the late 90s and early 00s. Basically pop music was in a ditch, all morose and pretend angry, and she brought it back to life with edgy, street-focused urban sweet-sexy pop...those were the days.
