Hew 988 Posted December 27, 2017 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Earlier this month I and two of my work friends went and donated a days worth of time to The Salvation Army for Candle bagging for the Carols in the domain. What happens is once The Salvation Army has the bags packed they sell them every year and the carols, the bags sell for around $30 and from there all the proceeds go towards homeless youth, youth on the streets, youth in troubled homes and youth having metal issues who need help. I was happy to go there and help and would happily do it again with no question, I believe that supporting the youth of Australia is one of the most important things and helping youth get off the street. The aim of what I was doing was very similar to the born this way foundation which is close to my heart also. I would happily go back and volunteer again with no questions asked! Good luck with the giveaway everyone, and congratulations on everyone who has put their hands in and done some volunteering for the less fortunate.
