That's what I kind of assumed, thanks for the response. The only music awards show where I think the artists genuinely don't know whether or not they've won beforehand are the Grammy's; hence, everyone shows up and nearly all the nominees perform. She's done this 'let's slow down a perfectly good song for no apparent reason' so many times that it's no longer having the intended impact.
