That's why I think the melodies are the most important think right now. And I totally understand your point of view. I was just trying to clarify mine :-) I see :) yeah, it's just my opinion, too. I feel like the general public doesn't give a **** either if the lyrics are good or not, hence why Bad Romance is very memorable (not because it has ****ty lyrics, but because of it's melody). As per the colored lyrics you've posted, all the reds are very melody based. While they are still deep and provide insight on Gaga's thoughts at the time, what makes them popular is the melody. I can forgive you if you have a ****ty beat or production is a little off (the lyrics will make up for that). But if you're not speaking about anything, regardless how good the beat is, I will forever hate you. Lyrics are the first thing I listen for, then it's the beat/melodies, etc. Mmhmm! While the music is still a big, BIG part for me, it should almost always be accompanied with a decent set of lyrics. Though sometimes my opinion on this wobbles, and I can make a special exception if the music really is so amazing that I set the lyrics aside. (Or could be that I'd just really enjoy an Electra Heart styled album from Gaga.) Maybe Gagz is going for less refined mind vomit on this album than on BTW. I'm beginning to hope for a bit of a hipster grunge teenage Gaga to come out this era. :nacho: (Maybe towards the end of the era after the decay of the blonde superstar has occured???) And I'd love for one or two of the songs on this album to have a similar sound to Electric Chapel. Favorite song on BTW by far. PLZZ JUST GUV ME DA ALBUM NOHW. AGCK.
