Glad I haven't been hyped since the ARTPOP era :sis:

That being said, what a great performance, and that hair and outfit

SHE WON AND LOOKED SO HAPPY AND PROUD. IT'S JUST LOVELY TO SEE SHE'S ABLE AGAIN TO DO WHAT SHE LOVES SO MUCH AND THAT'S WHY SHE PERFORMED.  CONGRATS GAGA <3

REALITY

Not my favorite performance of hers either tbh. And not because I had any meltdowns. I was pretty convinced that she would only perform The Cure.

I don't know, I am not sure what has happened to Lady Gaga's creativity. I know she was on tour and the stage has its limitations but I think the show was very predictable itself. I love all the hard work she put on her performances and admire that because no one can deny that she is one of a kind.

However, I feel like she wants so much distance from that image she once built of her - or that the media still expect from her - that she does not allow herself to be as visionary as she used to be. Showcasing amazing voice, great artistic concepts -  all together with great fashion and technology.

It's not only about wanting her crazy Gaga side back or not letting her leave the past behind because we all move forward. But I just wish she could still combine all these great great new breathtaking shows that no one else could make but her with the new sound of hers.

I thought this performance was absolutely spectacular. While I do agree, to an extent, that she wants to distance herself from the image she once built, I absolutely still believe that she has the same artistic and creative abilities that she once had.

The setup, the transition from the acoustic to the upbeat/tempo pop song, the outfit, the choreography (granted, it was still the same), the lighting, the special effects, the backdrop, the use of the entire arena, the outfit, all of it was amazing!

She incorporated technology, art, and fashion all into one cohesive performance. It's one of the best performances of the night.

100% agree. She kept it too tame and it didn't show America what she can do. The usual live performance with the high notes is so much better. This performance was extremely underwhelming. I'm disappointed.

I hope they keep the new performance for the rest of the tour :flutter:

Seeing those platforms move while the chorus bangs will leave me shook to my core

Anyway, Gaga won an award and she performed :poot: As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason to continue watching...unless she's up for something else too :poot:

To be honest i was a lot more impressed and moved by Christina's tribute to Whitney. Gaga was great but i didn't find her show and performance to be among the most memorable.
