The Vegas residency is better for her health actually... and you gays know DAMN well that her shows are not ''shitty'' I don't know about you but I went to the ArtRave and JWT and those shows were amazing. 

She'll have A LOT of time to promote music.

Her health is the point. She cancelled the biggest festival and rescheduled 1/3 of her biggest world tour to date because of her health, yet she's signing a deal for 25% more shows than whole JWT. It's not like she will get that money for nothing. She will have to perform every night. Joanne and JWT were mostly about USA. And adding 70+ shows in USA is only gonna make her WW appeal worse. We already see how Brazilian fans reacted to this. If her health doesn't let her perform all over the world, why she is gonna do more shows than her whole "world" tour in Vegas? Does she really need that money so desperately? Cause if she doesn't, why won't she just stay at home, rest properly, record new album in peace and then start new era.
This is the way to overwork herself. And that's what I'm mad about.
And of course her shows aren't shitty. You know what I meant.

Although Pollstar’s stellar Box Office Department is still crunching numbers, we can tell you that the arena shows were almost all sellouts that averaged approximately $2.48 million per gig.  So far, the tour has a total gross of $81,812,681 for the North America run, a figure that should climb even more once the remaining shows are added to the mix....
