I'm glad she is nomminted (ofc) but the fact that she could not get a nominee in the big 4 with her most grammy friendly work yet when the era is a big succes is worrying to me. Sadly i don't think gaga will ever win SOTY/ROTY/AOTY if MR wasn't even able to get a nom.

She lost both Song and Record with Poker Face and it was WAY bigger than MR. She needs a huge hit to be nominated there, Im sure she can in the future! Or she could ask her friend Beyonce for a favor

Idts, SOY was snubbed, LWYMMD was snubbed. Grammys are corrupt and is all about having the right “connections”, maybe Christian being in a powerful talent agency will help

But how does this even work when there is lots of people voting? I'm sure not even half of the people who vote care about the color/gender of this artist but they just choice the song the like the most/find most worthy. I thought everyone voted then the grammys give nomminations to the top 5 most voted. Or is there like some higher "judge" who can just say "Let's not nomminate this song even though it got the most vote, lets nomminate this black arists that got almost no votes instead!

Well yeah. If I was an Ed Sheeran fan I would be totally mad at the Grammys. And I like to think that every Grammy Gaga got was fair and legal

I cant say for sure but dont you think it's suspicious JayZ got all these noms and most big awards nommed black artists after two years when two white females (Swift and Adele) won their second AOTYs against critically acclaimed black artists?
