People know Perfect Illusion. They just don’t like it. It’s not like G.U.Y or American Oxygen where people just don’t know what those songs are. It’s in the same category as Swish Swish where people know it (SWSW can thank viral backpack kid for that) but chose to not buy it or stream after first listen. 

Gaga can do better. She did do better with just about every other song on Joanne. The GeePee chose lyrical and vocal TALENT in the form of Million Reasons. It’s a Gaga classic now.

I know LWYMMD is bigger than MR. I merely said that it would not outsell MR in pure sales. I gave no indication as to what that meant regarding the songs’ success.

Only one who really wasted it recently was Katy. Also Bruno's was kinda random.

Gaga was smart to push MR and Joanne with it and her US tour right after.

SB basically made Joanne platinum, MR a hit, and gave her a ~100M US tour alone. Without SB, I don't even wanna know where Joanne era would've ended up
