She'll tour WW when she releases an album they actually embrace. Joanne was not that, and the tour dates perfectly reflect where the era was most successful imo (maybe a second Italy date would've been more fitting but close enough)

Not really. Italy has one date and it should have more, France has two dates, while the album barely sold a handful number of copies. Germany has what three dates?

That’s almost the opossite of what you’re saying excluding the US.

And imo it works not the way you said it does. She should do a ww promo in order to have the album charting long enough to have a tour date. It’s not like the album was going to sell on its own. It did in a couple of countries but Gaga needs promo to be successful ww, as seen in this most recent era.

Except Japan, she promoted there and it did nothing :/

Agreed, tho to be fair the promo imo lacked the right pace and the music she performed did not represent the album well for the country she was in. I bet she wanted to do PI, Joanne and MR, but while in Japan she should give them JW, DIC instead.

Anyway, it’s all said and done. I guess we should drop that. Joanne was a successful era with hugely successful tour.

So those adds for Joanne are good or meh

Are just normal, coming from local stations which love Gaga, I never listened to those that added it

With how many spins can we say if it will do good or not? (sorry for the amount of questions)

So France was lucky to have 2 dates with 25k copies of Joanne sold, I guess.

Didn't PI go number one there? That alone makes them deserving :selena:

Yeah at that time the chart still was downloads only and since downloads are tragic she went #1 with 2.850 sales :gaycat:

Completely disagree. Several markets rejected this album and era. Even Japan, where she actually visited and promoted. There is no point in taking an expensive tour all the way across the world to a market that won't embrace it. Look at the Artrave in Australia, for example. A huge, huge underperformance, and they probably barely scraped a profit on all of those shows. Sure, her celebrity was a bit higher this time around, but again, this tour is obviously expensive, and shipping it that far in an area where the public is not craving for it makes no sense.

The Cure was a step in the right direction and proof that her name, with the right material, can still be successful. Plus, she can't tour everywhere every tour. This entire era was US-centric, and that's why they kept the bulk of it in the US. The European dates were probably considered based on where they saw the most interest for tour tickets, and all the dates are doing well so it seems they made the right choices. I agree, a second Italy date would've been successful, but I think they pretty much got it right this time around.

If there are curtains @ Barcelona second show, we'll have to do everything for other stans to not see those pics :gaysia:

and of course we'll say that it's rare for an artist to do 2 shows in Barcelona :gaycat:

I was looking at the Rebel Heart Tour wiki page and I saw that the 2 shows in Barcelona only had 28,104 in attendance. Why that low? :oprah:

I mean Bayonse played for 17315 people during Mrs. Carter, so if Gags manages to sell ~30k tickets it'd be Great :selena:

however she did play a 45k stadium during Formation tour, but that's Another story... :laughga:

Welp I guess she was in the same case as Gaga!

It's hard to sell out 2 shows there
