Why do you need a "reason" for TC performance?

It’s because Gaga fans... and any sort of pop fan in general... only enjoys promotion when there’s a chance it will make the song rise on charts. 

You notice how the majority of this fan base is glued to charts every time she performs on a popular show? Yeah. 

People complained that she didn’t promote ARTPOP enough (a lie), because “they wanted visuals,” when in reality it’s because they were trying to justify the underperformance in their heads. 

We’re getting new visuals this week, but now people are complaining about “weird timing.” Get the **** outta here! Lmao it’s because y’all know the song peaked and the performance won’t do squat for it on charts.

The blame is on herself for letting or telling Red One DJWS and Christian to hype us with new music, even she posted pics at the studio ffs..

 

Also, the cure is dead already (got old really quick) and she doesnt perform it well, its awkward (basic for her standards) and doesnt showcase the amazing tech at the JWT, nor her vocals, something like Jhon Wayne or DIC would be better but eh.. whatever she wants to do, i just think she'll do a medley of TC and The new song.

-Why did she act like the song didn't exist?

I think it's more than reasonable to complain about this performance, she should have performed it half year ago. Many fans were/are very disappointed about the situation of the SINGLE, so I don't see the point in remembering the existence of this mistreated song.

The song was just as a cute little Coachella single, nobody on Gaga's team probably even thought about this song becoming a huge hit from the one Coachella performance, so they probably didn't have time to promote it. Plus she had lots of JWT stuff to do. However now that she's performing at the JWT the day of the AMA's, it's perfect.
