At least for a few months... Now prices are rising again Vacancy rates have dropped to 1% in some of Canadas key markets including Toronto and in some neighbourhoods an open house will result a line of people going around a block as the housing shortage gets worse and worse The Government just announced annual immigration will increase to 340,000 a year making housing shortage and prices potentially worse Experts say Canada needs to stop tightnening mortage rules as they are strict enough and only keeping milenials living at home with parents longer... what needs to be done is policies to encourage construction further.
