dont get me wrong. I was snachedT when I saw the announcement but did they have to intentionally tease this mess of a fandom.

I don't think GagaDaily actually knew what was coming, they just sense something and drop a bs statement so when the thing that they and all of us have sensed is released it looks like they have insiders.

How did the guy even know she would be performing at the AMAs? I think this is just to keep the surprise alive and attract all the LM to the show so they see her debut frankensteined.

Gaga sung an unreleased song to a few fans and the news got to Twitter so naturally a whole bunch of “insiders” would use the info to get some retweets and attention. 

The only thing the GagaDaily Admin knew was that there was an Interscope meeting recently regarding Gaga, but she’s on a sold out world tour and is performing at the AMAs so I doubt it would’ve been about new music. 

Shes writing/recording music on tour, but she always does.

If she wanted to attract the Monsters to watch they wouldn't announce a performance of The Cure she would at least hint something.

I think that new stuff (besides ASIB soundtrack) is coming sooner than expected BUT I just think that we need to chill the **** out... new stuff is exciting but its novelty will wear off and the fanbase will crave something new. I think it's important to just enjoy everything she does because there will be a day when there won't be anymore new Gaga music and we will be wishing that we had enjoyed it more while we had it.

but then that wrecks the shock of it. It needs to be a complete surprise. That is the reason why the Paparazzi performance is so iconic. NOBODY predicted she would bleed to death on TV. Same with this. NOBODY can expect anything prior or else it wrecks the shock value. Again, this is just a theory and I don't have any evidence. Just really hoping.
