It was incredibly annoying because she was so focused on the whole production she would rather give into the "backing tracks". No one is saying she doesn't have the pipes. She has. Or any example where she moves her lips while not actually singing. Again - "lip syncing" is very separate from "not singing certain parts of a song". I've seen Gaga live three times (BTWB,artRAVE,and Cheek 2 Cheek with Tony Bennett),she sang 100% live,snatched my wig off,and blew the roof off the places she was performing. She has used backtracking too much and only sang parts of certain songs which is almost as bad. Lately, she has barely used backtrack At JWT in LA there was barely any backtrack. Her voice sounded better than ever. Lip syncing is when an artist does not sing at all. They just literally move their lips to the song without making any noise.
