Are they serious. She’s not lip syncing at all. Its so easy to tell that thats her singing. The back track only overpowers her at the end of the second verse and the one part where she’s intentionally letting when while she’s screaming a note. I thought the performance was overall well done for her talent.

Honestly, sometimes I feel jealous when bad singers and dancers like her are more relevant now than Gaga, Janet, Xtina, Ciara.... :grr:

same, the numbers for reputation make me seethe tbh even though i like the album

I don’t see this as hating, more like making observations.

Hating would be like when the media was constantly bagging on Gaga’s weight gains, when Kettle was dragged by the media for her hair, etc.

Oh gad :ladyhaha::ladyhaha::ladyhaha:

It was hard to say if it was actually lipsynching. Most of it does sound exactly like the studio version, although she could be lipsynching to a live recording on parts that are slightly different. Try listening to it with your eyes closed and you'll see how close it is to the studio version, which is very fishy. Point is, she was relying heavily on the backing track, the track was overpowering her (especially on the louder parts) and her dancing was sub-par. Simply moving while singing is considered choreography these days. It's going to be interesting to see how she performs this song on tour and then we'll know what the truth is.

Consequence of Sound is redressing the balance and I like it. They may be a lone voice but they're needed. Someone has to be out there telling those other critics where its at. Someone needs to point out the blatantly obvious which is that Taylor is not the second coming and is a girl of very basic talent who got where she is due to pushy parents with connections.

I’ll reserve my judgements until the mic feed is released :poot:

But I don’t think she was lip syncing, just relying heavily on the back track to the point where she seems lost and off balance.

When is that usually released?

If THAT is hating (one publication vs 1000 in her favour) what was that happened to Gaga during the ARTPOP era?

This is a confirmation that all the other reviews were honest and not paid by Taylor's team as some members were suggesting and it's okay to have negative reviews not everything can be perfect.. Her next sold out stadium world tour will scalp I'm excited :excited2:

She definitely sang the verses but I was surprised by how in-tune she was on the chorus, not even being shady. She usually has a hard time singing and dancing so I have a feeling they blasted tf out of that chorus backing so you could hardly hear her in case she was out of breath (lo behold, she was).
