NIGHTCRAWLER 6,985
The album is a bop I love it. The producing and the mastering is flawless. I'm just a lil disappointed that some songs sound really like some on 1989. I'd have liked more originals songs like LWYMMD and RFI. The instrumentals are so good and dark but the vocals are like Disney vocals for a few songs. But I'm gonna bop on this this next weeks for sure! Some songs are really awesome!!!!!!!!! sipthistea 21,099
Ok, the production of the album is interesting. I understand the shift of direction she made, but the lyrics are not really good. I listened to All Too Well a couple days ago, and reputation's lyrics are a downgrade from there. This album feels like she completely sold out and changed her music in order to be more mainstream, just like Shakira doing reggaeton. 1989 was a solid-good pop record, but this one is all about the instrumentals. Fav: I Did Something Bad It's a 5/10 for me

JohnnyVersace 8,987
Ok I'm finished. (not including the pre-release tracks because we've all heard them) Spoiler Like: Don't Blame Me - really beautiful and has a nice old-school meets country vibe that I'm feeling Delicate - an Imogen Heap trap trance chill vibe, issa bop Getaway Car - catchy chorus, and love the bridge/breakdown King of My Heart - so vapid, I cannot, but so so catchy Dislike: End Game - cringe on another level This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things - Taylor, sis, NO. "Bass be rattling the chandelier" I'll only like this if she says it's about Donald Trump. Meh: I Did Something Bad - it's alright idk, kind of dramatic and cheesy So It Goes - cute, a bop, nice chorus, but sounds so familiar and can't place it Dancing With Our Hands Tied - sounds like a SoulCycle song, something from like 4 years ago with a big dance buildup/breakdown Dress - cute enough New Years Day - the realest/most stripped she gets on Rep. Sweet, but still boring. --- Tbh, a LOT of it sounds the same. It's like 1989, with way more auto-tune, Imogen Heap/CHVRCHES vocals and synth beats, and less thematic tones. The high-pitch vocals are slightly annoying, and the way she digitally manipulates her voice is repeated throughout, which becomes boring and overplayed. She repeats "Reputation" OVER AND OVER, and the whole tone is about her "not being a bad girl" but wanting to be little slut for a night. And the constant dialogue about her kingdom, her keys, the gates, yada yada, is so...weird? Like wtf are you trying to say? Just seems tone-deaf in the scope of the world when we're literally all fighting against a tyrant whose driving us towards nuclear war. She's positioning herself as the supreme ruler of pop and it's just bizarre. And I gotta say, for an album called Reputation, and from someone whose scandals have been splashed across magazine and television for years, I find it revolting that she didn't deliver one ounce of real remorse/growth/or acceptance of the truth, or acknowledgment of her real reputation. It's just pure deflection wrapped in trap beats. I will also say that this album is FAR from edgy or dark. It's all a facade. BUT, she can make a good pop song, and should stop trying so hard to be dark and cool. Also, Tay, HORRIBLE track names. Like YIKES. Anyway, 7/10. Edonis 28,950
Nnnnn it reminded me of Witness in a way which is very ironic There were some songs that I liked, but others were not very memorable to me I give it a mixed score. I don’t think by any means it’s awful, but it’s also far from a masterpiece. The good thing is that sonically, it’s cohesive, despite the clear divide in more uptempo tracks in the first half and the more mid tempo/downtempo stuff on the second half. I think the singles were picked well given with what’s available. If I had to pick future singles, Endgame, Getaway Car, and Dancing with our Hands Tied could be good choices. After hearing the entire album, I like ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ now. It feels like a Taylor Swift album. Her fans will like it, despite the genre shift. It will sell well. The GP will eat it up. 6.5/

Sneaky Oliver 22,055
The album is really cool so far (I'm still in the first half tho). I don't why yall are expecting All Too Well kinda of lyrics. It has nothing to do with the album theme or sound.
JustinTrudeau 2,419
Haven't listened to the album (and I'm not sure if I will get around to), but the song titles throws me off a bit. It doesn't seem like it's about media or society or something other than boys. Same old formula I guess. This could have been something really groundbreaking, and I'm getting tired of her old tricks. I hope my mind changes when I listen to Reputation. I fell down the stairs once as an actor.
Flora 695
Mixed feelings as of now. I need to listen more. Initially 6/10 though, and her worst album. Also I need TIWWCHNT, my download didn't have it.
