Why is everyone calling it B-side?

B-side by definition is usually bonus tracks, flip side, and less important side.

If whatever music she is working on, it's NOT physically attached to the opposite side of the Joanne record. Also, B-sides are usually treated like unreleased material or hidden material.

The closest thing we have to a "B-side" is TFM but that's considered an extended play because it's a full body of work with music videos, single-treatment, etc.

Supposedly Gaga said backstage that she wanted to release a B-Side of Joanne. Her words, not ours.

TFM is not a B-side in any way, shape or form lol. The term "b-side" changed a lot after there are no more physically released singles. Usually the single came in the A-side of the vinyl and then there was a bonus track on the B-side. Sometimes it was a track that was not on the album, but that was not always the case. Nowadays people use the term b-side to refer to any unreleased material from a certain era.

Because she called i‎t a B side herself and said she wanted to use it to release songs that didn’t make i‎t from the Joanne conception era.

She called it B-Side herself. I was there. She said she wanted to release extra songs that didn't make Joanne, plus some working demos of previously released songs and some behind-the-scenes audio tracks.
