"Chair" isn't a gender. Someone's gender is simply how they describe/identify themselves in relation to the gender binary of male/female. I think it's great that we've reached a point in society where countries are now learning to legislate while respecting the individual identities of their citizens First race broke through, then sexuality, now gender is the next great conquest for equality and acceptance. It's a beautiful thing and a sign of great things to come. There are 80.000 people in Germany who can't call themselfes male or female and suffer from a missing third option.
