Apple Music did change their policies because of Taylor. And she published her discography on spotify only a few months ago.

That's win?? No, Swift would have got her stuff on one of those platforms anyway, it would only really hurt her if none of her music was available for any streaming sites, so why not make a big deal out of it just to paint her as some sort of saviour of starving artists deprived of their coinz? At the end of the day, I repeat, the market of streaming remains the absolute same. Her "win" had 0 impact. Spotify wasn't hurt because, evidently, her songs are available on their platform now.

Taylor’s “marketing strategy” caused apple music to pay more to the artists and their team, essentially apple music wasn’t going to pay the artists for the 3-months trial period. I don’t see how is this a publicity stunt, causing a company to pay more for all of the artists and not just taylor

Its called a PR stunt, this way Taylor looks charitable and makes AM look better than greedy Spotify as if any of them cared about small indie artists
