Rihanna doesn’t do either. Neither one of them is a true vocalist, but to say Rihanna has more talent, just because you prefer her. is just false. Also- Taylor didn’t vote for trump. Why do people keeep saying that- are we wanting her to fit some sort of false narrative? Why do people want so bad for her to be the bad guy? I don't like Taylor, but doesn't mean I'm deaf she is just basic, wouldn't really recognize her voice on the radio... Rihanna is iconic + her discography is pretty strong and that alone takes some talent to get there.. her home-town Barbados is naming a street after her. Rihanna is cute as an actress too "just because you prefer her. is just false " - my comment, my prefferences?

She didn't say otherwise when popstars with massive GP influence were. Gaga was outspoken about it. Taylor could have contributed, you know. Many people in the GP, for the better or for worse, look up to celebrities they admire for life advice. Taylor Swift had a platform that she did not use for the right thing. She may not have voted for Trump but if she didn't, then keeping it to herself was a selfish attempt to not lose fans when America was going through a time where people needed to come together and stop a disaster from happening. Which happened. My issue with Taylor is not that I see her as a "bad guy;" I just don't see her as a good one. Also, I simply don't get why she's praised so much right now. Her new era is not any different from her previous one--same looks, same makeup, same facial expressions and attitude. And she claims the whole "new" Taylor thing which seems so forced. I personally don't like her new era musically either, but that's subjective. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live

You never hear Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears etc speak politically on the level that Gaga, Miley, Cher etc. do. Just because you chose to not voice your political opinion does not make you on the same level as a person who supports trump. People look to Taylor for good pop music, and she delivers. Now you’re right, preference is of course subjective. But people labeling her a trump supporter, or a republican is just going too far.

At least that's what I believe. I admire those who do. No, this doesn't place Taylor at the level of Trump supporters; but it's just a missed opportunity in vain, you know. Exceptional circumstances (this wasn't just any other election) call for exceptional support. Gaga said: "Why do people just stand around?" Imo very outspoken celebs(Katy Perry and Madonna) are irritating and is realy annoing when they brag about politics even when their favourite lost in fair elections. Also, when Beyonce, Katy Perry, Jay-Z, Madonna and 3/4 of the stars in Hollywood didn't prevent Trump from winning, why do you think Taylor would've made any difference? Hollywood is for entertainment, not for politics. Spoiler Still waiting for Miley and Madonna to move to Canada.
