Honestly I think she should push new music possibly from her next musical project (ASIB)

Joanne's is dead since the end of MR as a single... It's quite late to make it back... DIC should have been a single last summer but she decided to push   a brand new song. 

I think she should focus on what's coming next.

Knowing she wrote and produced the whole thing, yeah Interscope has the rights on it

Why ? Because she needs to promote the movie, and the promo for a movie needs to start far before the release date. And for the moment apart fans no one knows about it, there's absolutely no hype on this project... Debuting a song from the soundtrack would be the good way to start the hype, especially if she wants Oscars for the music. She'll need to perform the music everywhere she'll be able to. The more you are promoted the more you have chance to win an Oscar

It will be a disaster if she decided to, just like GUY, they decided to do whatever they want and when it was too late, they gave us GUY and expected us to support it to make it not flop.

It really might do decently with the right promotion and a fantastic video. I'm always ready for what Gaga has up her sleeve.

Those were different times. Everyone was over her and she was basically at the lowest of her career. Now after all the success and huge gigs this year, there's a big demand for new Gaga music.

Okay, I love DIC and it's currently shaping up to be my most played Gaga Song but there are some thoughts that I have:

1) A new Single is always good

There is not a bad factor a new Single has for the GP. It means that fans and possibly new people will hear the Song and fall in love with it. Gagas Reputation is really good at the moment, so she won't get this sort of 'Hate because she's Gaga' that she used to get during ARTPOP. It has to be known by the Monsters, that a Single now won't hurt her. She's currently on a Worldtour and a new Single is a good way to promote it. Esp. since she's hitting Europe in the early Spring, she can do some Radio Interviews then and maybe 1-2 TV Appearances. She has the Choreo down and the Dancers are already there - so it's a perfect Opportunity. 

2) US Performances

YAY, If she's performing it at the AMAs. But, isn't The Voice also slowly starting Liveshows soon? and will she use her Grammy Performance to do promotion for the Song?

3) Why now?

Why not. As I stated earlier, a new Single always gives good publicity. Also adding to that, every Song Gaga had out so far needed time to grow. DIC could easily build a streaming audience during December and start doing well during January. We shouldn't underestimate her Management. 

4) The Music Video

I really hope the Music Video will be EPIC. A year ago, I made this Thread about what I want for the aesthetic.

I don't think so. It just seems like a weird time to do it, plus, to be honest, while the song's good, it's not anything to get super hyped about. If they wanted it to be a single, they should have done it earlier.

Also, if it's true that she's performing at the AMA's, I don't know if she'd perform/live stream DIC as a single. If she is going to perform, I think it'd be a new song—especially with all of the DJWS teases. 

EDIT -  Also, I think she said that during the JWT as more of an innuendo and joke rather than her being serious about it.
