Yeah exactly, he's the perfect boogy man for the Dems to use in 2018 and 2020. He could ruin the GOP for a decade.

The GOP is going to be stained regardless.Ā

We're so screwed either way. Ā Trump--a horny pervert that could get us nuked or the Fundamentalist Christian who wants to pray the gays away. Ā

Hopefully Mueller comes up with a chain of collusion and/or corruption that takes not only 45 down but those associated with him as well. Ā They are accomplices in some senses.

Sucks that this is what we have to recover from as there will be no progressĀ because we have to clean up this mess first. Ā :madge:

It's insane to me that people want him impeached. Would u rather a right wing nut that can actually play with congress?Ā

Yes. I'm more worried about WW3 than anything that can be done by a conservative Republican. I'm more concerned about the current toxic situation in the US and the fact that our country is seen as going backwards...that the brain drain is going to Canada and other countries...that Trump's words stir up the racistsĀ and bigots. I want someone who isĀ Presidential, even if I disagree with their policies.Ā

He won't. No way!

The country is gerrymandered and divided enough on issues that aren't going to go away. If the GOP are dumb enough to screw with Ā the middle class on this tax reform, you could see a turnover in 2018...but Trump isn't going to cause Republicans to stop voting for local and state elections. Republicans show up to vote in those elections and they vote for whoever has an R by their name, no matter what they are like.Ā

Sorry, but this not very likely to happen. Republicans and conservative vote for anyone with an R by their name regardless of the reality of any situation. The proof is everywhere considering Republicans consistently screw over the middle class and average American, yet Republicans control every branch of government and over half the states because they'll vote them in no matter what.Ā

Please tell me he's playing that ad during Fox and FriendsĀ :creepflop:

Yes I do believe it is actually. He certainly has the money to do it, and Fox needs the money especially with how much their ad revenue dropped this quarterĀ :lolly:

Aside from WW3, I see all of this as positive for the democrats. The worse the GOP president is, the better.Ā

Toxic situations in the US lead to poverty, injury, violence and even death. That's not a positive for those experiencing the fallout. The brain drain going to Canada and other countries is not a positive for our science communities or for research. That impacts everyone, not just Republicans. It also isn't something that will turn around in two years. Stirring up bigots and racists create dangerous situations for the most vulnerable in our society. That's not a positive.Ā
