They were proved lies and the leaders stepped down. It needs a re-vote, the UK loves Europe and doesn't want to leave. There's even talk of Russian influence. Its crazy how the results came out almost everybody wanted to stay. Obviously now with the slim win but most British people couldn't understand the results. A majority of my area were were Brexit voters and not to belittle anyone's vote but it was clear they didn't understand. The entire Leave campaign was deceit and scare-mongering. However there isn't going to be another vote and shouldn't. It'd do more damage. It's pretty much a done deal. The UK and the EU will both suffer and make gain.
