You effectively twisted the message of the story to somehow villify the left when the party at fault is obviously the right: Mike Cernovich is an alt-right extremist. He is a leading figure in what he likes to call
the "Men's rights" movement. He was also a proponent of such lies as Hillary Clinton being near death due to some unholy combination of Parkinson’s and syphilis, and Pizzagate, the story that prominent Democrats were part of a child sex-trafficking operation headquartered in the basement of a Washington, D.C., pizza restaurant that doesn't even have a basement. He is also a regular host of The Alex Jones Show on freaking InfoWars!!

These protesters were protesting the fact that Columbia University was giving this speaker of hate and lies a platform to promote his hate speech. How can you find fault in them attempting to stand up for truth, equality, and against such vile bigotry and hate?

Also, here's a gem of a quote from the man who was being protested on the issue of rape. He believes date rape doesn't exist: "Lying about being in love to sleep with someone isn't rape. Getting played isn't rape. Regret isn't rape. Thinking, 'I might have been date raped,' means you weren't raped."

I proudly support the protesters and refuse to twist this story to somehow put them in a negative light.

I condone them protesting this dude, I think he's an asshole. I'm simply saying that in the right's opinion, the left is crazy, so if so many think that, why do they need to make things up? Surely there's enough material as is to get big headlines. That's all.
